Exactly. Doing an ollie on a snowboard is much different than just jumping and sucking your knees up. Steezy describes it perfectly. If you get that pop the tail propels you much higher into the air than you could ever jump. Besides that, if you pop it right, it just looks right. Jumping will only make you look like a poser. Just like making uneducated comments.
