Using Jumping Stilts to Get Fit

Spring is about over. Could you stand to drop a few pounds?

If you’ve already determined you intend on getting fit so you can wear the new bathing suit, but know countless hrs spent at the gym are going to be boring and take time away from what you want to be out doing, we have a brand new extreme sports product that nearly assures you get fit and enjoy the process.

The product is called Air-Trekker Jumping stilts. Jumping Stilts apparently are taking the USA by force among the 15- 25 year old extreme sports gangs but we’ve found “older, health sensible men and women who are bored with of the gym and are looking for novel ways of exercising” are buying these units. WHY? “They are are just a lot of fun, and with the fun comes incredible physical fitness.”

There are a a couple of licensed brands in the USA, and the brands are similar, so check around for the most affordable and the best quality. And after a short learning curve adapting to the realization you are standing 18″ off the ground, you will find yourself bouncing, running and leaping around like an 8 year old very quickly.

Youngsters around the country have been utilizing their skateboard, snowboard, wake board and trampoline skills and performing all their dangerous, big air tricks on jumping stilts. “It’s like having a trampoline lashed to your feet……you can perform anyplace.” But the hidden benefit is remarkable cardiovascular and core muscle development.

Why spend an hour running when you can maintain an optimum heart rate quickly, without ever having to leave your front yard. 5-10 minutes of exercising on jumping stilts will boost your heart rate up as high as you want. Calories will be burning with only three five minute sessions per week and you’ll be making your legs stronger and increasing lung capacity. Along with burning those nasty calories you’ll be shedding that extra weight that has been hanging onto your mid-section.

Although an excellent alternative to treadmills and boxersize classes, the most remarkable benefit of exercising on jumping stilts is leg and core muscle development. Getting to the gym every day and putting yourself through the whole workout routine is tough to commit to.

Arms, chest, and back are fairly easy to stay committed too because the results are so noticeable but it’s much easier to forget the aerobic part that is also important. Enter jumping stilts. If you want to tone your waistline, buttocks and legs, easily and quickly, jumping stilts may be the product you should try.

Each bound takes exertion of the quads and buttocks, so as you are running or leaping around having fun, your are performing unique exercises to condition and tone your legs and midriff. Users, even jocks with muscular legs, have noticed that their legs feel “like noodles” after the first few sessions.

”Jumping stilts offer a type of exercise you just don’t find anywhere else. I thought I was in great shape and I bragged to you that my legs were strong………but I was amazed how jumping stilts took my leg strength to the next level. This new strength helps me in all my sporting activities.” J.S. Conn

One final benefit of exercising on jumping stilts is when you compound the cardiovascular and the strength exercise, the physical results are dramatic. You’ll see all your muscles in your quads explode. Your butt will take on a rounder, harder figure. You’ll notice how tight all the muscles around your waist have got.

Not just the six pack in the front, but all the muscles that are located in your midsection. That belt size will shrink faster than you can say jumping stilts. It happens fast because the exercise is so unique. As they say – when you “shock” your body with a new exercise you see and feel results very quickly.

If you’re interested in getting fit and having a blast doing it, check out this article on How To Use Jumping Stilts to Burn Calories! I lost 5lbs in 3 days just from hopping around on my jumping stilts.

What is a longboard?

There are two kinds of longboards, one is a longer style surfboard and the other is like a skateboard but longer. This article will focus specifically on the skateboard type. A longboard is similar to a skateboard in many ways, but has some significant differences. A longboard is made for cruising and not as much for the flip tricks etc done in regular skateboarding, Be it as a means of transportation or as a form of entertainment most longboards are longer and wider than a typical skateboard and often times have very different shapes than a skateboard designed mostly to help with carving (like on a surfboard or snowboard). Their original background comes from surfers putting trucks or roller skates on the bottom of waterskis, surfboards, etc to help them practice and keep them riding when there were no waves to surf. There are many reasons to get a longboard, whatever your reason is for getting one, exercise, transportation or just having fun, they are a great investment. For a relatively cheap price you can pick one up online in the convenient form of a complete longboard and without any more effort than opening a box you are ready to go.

So why get a longboard? To get started, because they are a great way to get some exercise. Longboarding is a very fun and relaxing way of getting some good cardio exercise and getting your blood pumping (and if you are looking at one for your kids or grandkids, you don’t even have to tell them that it’s good exercise!). They are also a great way of relaxing, try riding one just to unwind, especially down your local bike trail or through a nice park. Longboards are also a very cheap and fairly quick form of transportation and are very environment friendly, not to mention how good you’ll look to all your friends as your ride your new longboard around. I will often ride my longboard to the store for a quick shopping run rather than riding if the store isn’t too far away. Longboarding is also a great way to relieve stress, leave behind the daily grind and just get outside and enjoy the fresh air for a minute, I frequently will go and ride my board out in the parking lot at work on a break if I need a chance to get out and unwind for a few minutes. Riding a longboard is also a great way to learn and / or improve your balance. The biggest reason to get a longboard is just to go out and have some fun! There is nothing like feeling the wind in your hair, your board under your feet and a nice hill to keep you and your longboard in motion. It is a great way to help your friends try something new, go on a date or just fill up some free time in a very satisfying way. That being said, you have nothing more left than to get yourself a longboard and start riding.

Trampoline Accesories – Ladders, Covers and Tie Downs

Trampoline accessories many will feel are a extra item that they don’t need to purchase and they would be right but by not purchasing them for your trampoline it is reducing its shelf life and stopping it being protected by the British weather. To being with the most popular accessory is a trampoline tie down kit. Trampolines in the garden act when the wind conditions are strong as a real threat to causing accidents. When wind blows especially under a larger sized trampoline around the 12 and 14ft sized variety. If that trampoline was to fly into your home or the neighbours garden it could cause injury to someone. Not only that there is the chance if damage to the trampoline or your property.

The next major accessory is the trampoline ladder again there are two major benefits of this product. First of all the practical aspect put simply it is going to be a lot easier getting on and off the trampoline with a good quality ladder. Plus the safety element and health and safety aspect which is even more prominent with parents with younger children. The higher and larger sized trampolines can be a good two feet from the ground so it is a vital purchase in these circumstances.

The trampoline weather covers are a great way of preserving the quality of the trampoline padding, mat and netting. The more rain and changes in temperatures the trampoline experiences the larger the chance of damage from the elements.

We have a massive range of accessories including the ones already listed but also including items that may be unknown such as trampoline speakers and even trampolines have bounce boards now a days. The bounce boards are a snowboard type extra that are great for the trampoline tricks.

If you would like some help or advice in making your decision simply visit 365trampolines.co.uk and speak to there sales representatives.

Working online for the past 7 years I now own and run the trampolines shop based in the uk called 365trampolines.co.uk
